The 32-year-old moved to the Italian capital on loan in January after falling out with Bayern coach Louis van Gaal and has gone on to find the net five times in 14 appearances for the Serie A outfit.

Toni has intimated that he sees his future in Italy, being quoted in Romanews.eu as saying: "I am working really hard because my dream is to remain here. I want to stay at Roma.

"However, I am not the one who decides as it's the club who decide my future, but I repeat that I want to remain with the Giallorossi."
