Schieber joins Nurnberg on loan

06/04/2010 - Stuttgart, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Stuttgart have allowed striker Julien Schieber to join fellow Bundesliga side Nurnberg on loan for a year in order to aid his development.

The 21-year-old made 19 appearances last term but failed to hold down a regular first-team spot and the club's director of sport, Jochen Schneider, believes the move is in the best interest of all parties.

Speaking to reporters, Schneider said: "Julian should take the next step and develop further.

"He has the best conditions to do that at Nurnberg and he can gain more Bundesliga experience. Julian has been pushing for more appearances and wants to play his way into regular contention for the first team."
